csde_bridge: It's Here (Apr 23, 2005)
Right, just for fun, csde_bridge is now available for download. There are two archives - the first contains just the map (BSP) for players, and the second contains the original RMF and WAD for anyone who wants to edit/improve/destroy/port it.
csde_bridge.zip, 2.67MiB, for players:
Download from johnsto.co.uk
Download from nyud.net
Download from fileshack.com
Download from fileplanet.com
csde_bridge.rmf.zip, 2.65MiB, for mappers:
Download from johnsto.co.uk
Download from nyud.net
This is likely to be my very last release for HL1/CS1 ever, so it's fitting that it's complete diversion from all my previous maps. It's designed to be plain and simple LAN fun. In fact, I think there are only just enough spawns for 10 or so people...
Have fun.
Update: Don't play it with bots. They play too sensibly. This one needs real people.

Hi Dave really nice to heard you make a new maps again. You're one of the best mappers in cs and i hope u always be part of this giga communities. Best Regards. PS i wonder if you could make maps like de_dust2 the maps is so cool and i think no one still could be able to make that. So please make maps good like that again.

If you can't speak English, don't post in it?
Dust2 will remain my fave map, can't say im a fan of Dust however, as it's so simple and really luck based, but ill give it credit due to it's successor.
How come this news wasnt posted at http://www.johnsto.co.uk/ do you not update that site any more?

I'm going to give the main site a complete overhaul in the future, but not yet. Once that's done, it'll link into the blog.
